First off, let me start by saying thank you for taking the time to get to know a little bit about me!

So this is where it all began...

​

        Growing up I always kind of felt trapped. Past relationships made me feel like I couldn't move or do what made me happy. The only outlet that ever set me free from being trapped was my art. In high school I took every art class possible but even that wasn't enough though. I had to beg my art teacher to let me take independent study classes just so I could still make art. I knew then that art was going to be a huge part of my future.

        My dad helped inspire my photography. He started taking these awesome pictures and it always blew me away. It wasn't until I picked up a real camera that I fell in love with photography. When I graduated with my Bachelor's of Fine Arts all of my focus would revolve around my photography and graphic design.

 

        Everything inspires me. The way a person's face lights up when they talk about something they love intrigues me...I may not even connect with what they love but I love that look on their face. The innocence of a child's smile can make any bad day better. People are interesting and special. It is my passion to capture those special moments and qualities in a person.

        Life is beautiful but we are so used to our routines and scheudles that it's tough for people to see that beautiful white flower growing from a tree or the look on a mans face when he looks at the woman he is about to marry. We have to learn to appreciate everything that makes up our lives. 

 

        My goal with my photography is to capture moments in time that are important to people. I want to freeze that moment for someone to keep forever. It's my job and my passion to create forever memories. I want people to be able to look back at the specific moment of a proposal, or the beautiful smile of a child, or even just a special time in a person's life. I want my veiwers to feel something from my photography.
